Abe de Jong is a professor of corporate finance and corporate governance at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM). His research and teaching interests are in the area of empirical corporate finance and include capital structure choice, dividend policy, risk management, corporate investment and divestment policies, and corporate governance. In addition, his work also examines the history of governance and finance in the Netherlands. Professor de Jong obtained his PhD in finance from Tilburg University in 1999.
